بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

verse 1

أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡفِيلِ

Translation: Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the Companions of the Elephant

verse 2

أَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡ كَيۡدَهُمۡ فِي تَضۡلِيلࣲ

Translation: Did He not make their treacherous plan go astray

verse 3

وَأَرۡسَلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ طَيۡرًا أَبَابِيلَ

Translation: And He sent against them Flights of Birds

verse 4

تَرۡمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةࣲ مِّن سِجِّيلࣲ

Translation: Striking them with stones of baked clay

verse 5

فَجَعَلَهُمۡ كَعَصۡفࣲ مَّأۡكُولِۭ

Translation: Then did He make them like an empty field of stalks and straw, (of which the corn) has been eaten up
