الْهُمَزَةِ

وَيۡلࣱ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةࣲ لُّمَزَةٍ

Translation: Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter

ٱلَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالࣰ ا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ

Translation: Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by

يَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخۡلَدَهُۥ

Translation: Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever

كَلَّاۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِي ٱلۡحُطَمَةِ

Translation: By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحُطَمَةُ

Translation: And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces

نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُوقَدَةُ

Translation: (It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to a blaze)

ٱلَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةِ

Translation: The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts

إِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِم مُّؤۡصَدَةࣱ

Translation: It shall be made into a vault over them

فِي عَمَدࣲ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭ

Translation: In columns outstretched
