بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

verse 1

أَلَمۡ نَشۡرَحۡ لَكَ صَدۡرَكَ

Translation: Have We not expanded thee thy breast

verse 2

وَوَضَعۡنَا عَنكَ وِزۡرَكَ

Translation: And removed from thee thy burden

verse 3

ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنقَضَ ظَهۡرَكَ

Translation: The which did gall thy back

verse 4

وَرَفَعۡنَا لَكَ ذِكۡرَكَ

Translation: And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)

verse 5

فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلۡعُسۡرِ يُسۡرًا

Translation: So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief

verse 6

إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلۡعُسۡرِ يُسۡرࣰ ا

Translation: Verily, with every difficulty there is relief

verse 7

فَإِذَا فَرَغۡتَ فَٱنصَبۡ

Translation: Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard

verse 8

وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرۡغَب

Translation: And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention
