الزِّلْزَالِ

إِذَا زُلۡزِلَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ زِلۡزَالَهَا

Translation: When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion

وَأَخۡرَجَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ أَثۡقَالَهَا

Translation: And the earth throws up her burdens (from within)

وَقَالَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا

Translation: And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her

يَوۡمَئِذࣲ تُحَدِّثُ أَخۡبَارَهَا

Translation: On that Day will she declare her tidings

بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوۡحَىٰ لَهَا

Translation: For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration

يَوۡمَئِذࣲ يَصۡدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشۡتَاتࣰ ا لِّيُرَوۡاْ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ

Translation: On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done)

فَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيۡرࣰ ا يَرَهُۥ

Translation: Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it

وَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةࣲ شَرࣰّ ا يَرَهُۥ

Translation: And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it
